We welcome work that is crafted with care—language that lingers, ideas that resonate, and writing that honors the beauty of form and thought.

✒️ What We’re Looking For:

We accept original, unpublished work in the following categories:

  • Essays – Literary, personal, or reflective (800–2,500 words)
  • Poetry – Up to 3 poems per submission
  • Short Fiction – Literary or experimental fiction (up to 3,000 words)
  • Interviews & Conversations – With writers, editors, or thinkers
  • Craft Notes – Thoughtful reflections on writing, reading, or the creative process

We especially value:

  • Depth over speed
  • Clarity with soul
  • Writing that bridges the literary and the intellectual

🕊️ How to Submit:

  • Send your work as a Word or Google Doc to: submissions@artisansquill.com
  • Use the subject line: Submission – [Genre]
  • Include a brief third-person bio (50–100 words)
  • Simultaneous submissions are fine; just let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere.

💡 Response Time:

We aim to respond within 4–6 weeks. If you haven’t heard back after that, feel free to follow up kindly.

✍🏽 Rights:

We ask for first digital rights and the right to keep your piece in our archives. All rights revert to you upon publication. If your work is later reprinted elsewhere, we’d appreciate a credit.
